Our woods' floors are relatively bare compared to the dense vines and underbrush surrounding the tree-trunks in the Philadelphia suburb where I grew up. Looks like you have redbud, dogwood, mayapples, magnolia, flowering cherry, and all the other beautiful vegetation of the Middle States and south that we can't grow here.
