We continue to be amazed at the conversations initiated by our 3-1/2 year old great grand daughter, Gracen. This is a text we received from her mom Tara:
So, the other night I played with a couple of her sticker things and the next morning she noticed! And she let me have it. She said, "Let me tell you something, when someone goes to bed someone else doesn't need to take it upon themselves to play with other people's stickers... I'm really upset with you!"

Egg Rolls
Every few months the family gets hungry for egg rolls. So today we had them all down and we all had our fill.
Dorothy makes them up.
And I fry them.
I hope we have enough.
A variety of sauces.
The kids eat theirs in the living room.

A Cold and Rainy Saturday
The best way to deal with a rainy day is to have the kids and grand kids
over and have green chili potato chowder, corn bread, and iced tea.

A Visit to the Fire Station
Today, Burk and I took Jenna and Gracen to the fire station behind their house for a tour.
The firemen opened the doors and allowed us to explore all the trucks.
These fire fighters had as much fun showing the trucks to the girls
as the girls had exploring them.
Inside an ambulance.
