Murphy's Law and Vacationing

I don't usually plan a vacation to the last activity, but this trip it was necessary to make the reservations early.  I reserved tickets at Graceland for a 12:45 tour giving myself at least an hour and a half leeway on the travel time. Well, because of construction and an accident on I-40 going through Arkansas we arrived more than an hour late.  Fortunately we were able to take the next tour. In fact the parking lot at Graceland was not even half full when we arrived. A sign of the recession perhaps. So all our activites were backed up and later than planned. I'm going to bed.  It's been a long day.
