in my town of Sacramento, CA, we're all bemoaning our freezing temps of 27F in the a.m. and 48F in the afternoon. We're such babies. And it was just a couple of months ago we were complaining about the unusually long and hot summer.
The ice hanging does look pretty!

It seems so strange to see your community snowbound. I just got a pair of new boots that are guaranteed to keep your feet warm even when it gets to -40, and I know I'll need that degree of protection in January, but that's what I signed up for when I decided to live in Ottawa. I hope things get back to normal soon.
