We will enter this room from the kitchen and there will only be the thicknes of the plywood 3/4" to step up onto. But, our next project is to strip the kitchen and continue the level of the new floor into the kitchen. There has always been a step down into the kitchen from the living room. This new floor will reduce the step down by 3//4".

The floor looks nice, but is there a step up into the room which will trip you each time you enter?

This is why I want to live in a condo. Not that I would actually refinish a floor, but if we had to do that, our relationship would surely suffer.
Did I tell you I got a call from Canada Post---holiday relief in the plant...good pay, right hours; haven't started yet, but had to buy the shoes.
