A few days ago we looked out the window to see our neighbor's cows in our back yard. Dorothy called the neighbors and I went out to herd them back down the road. I looked for a stick to prod and harass the cows, and by the time I found the perfect one, Lizzie had rounded up the cows and herded them onto the road where my neighbor was waiting in his truck to coax them on home. If I could speak dog-ese I would explain to Lizzie that she's a Cocker Spaniel and they just don't do those things. She's always doing things that she doesn't know she can't.
