flood

We've had a lot of rain this week and Peacheater Creek got up over its banks. This is the highest the water has risen in almost twenty years. The highway to Tahlequah was block for a few hours yesterday until the water subsided.

Oh, Mother Nature has her laughs on us!

I like your landscape, looking like it has much more of an understory to it than we do here in Maine. Our woods' floors are relatively bare compared to the dense vines and underbrush surrounding the tree-trunks in the Philadelphia suburb where I grew up. Looks like you have redbud, dogwood, mayapples, magnolia, flowering cherry, and all the other beautiful vegetation of the Middle States and south that we can't grow here. But we share the floods.
