quote of the day

Jared Loughner was considered too mentally unstable to attend community college. He was rejected by the Army. Yet buy a Glock hand gun and a 33 round magazine? No problem.

Just another example of how our society doesn't work. I am saddened and outraged all at once. We haven't learned a single thing from history.

His actions rest with him alone.
For history shows, when you ban handguns, the area quickly heads into the top dangerous/murder areas in the nation. Everytime. Only 1% of all firearms in the USA are used in murder. ONE percent.

As for Arizona, a handgun is a tool. The area requires some type of firepower for those who live outside the city and must deal with dog packs (dropped off by city people) snakes, cougars, coyotees, etc. Not to mention now that the area is swarming with criminal illegals forming gangs, they leave Americans alone because they don't know who owns a gun and who doesn't. Take those guns away from the citizens, the criminal element will take advantage of it and soon the death toll of Arizona natives, will go up.

I believe this man was so determined to kill that day, if he didn't have a gun, he would have plowed through the crowd with a vehicle.
