esl

Last night I rejoined the ESL team at First Baptist, Siloam Springs. It was good to see some of my former students and see how they have progressed in mastering the English language (a very difficult job).

These are people who have come to America for a new life and have a strong desire to learn the language and assimilate into our culture. It's gratifying to be able to particpate in giving them a hand up.

Wally, I'm very impressed anytime anyone tries to learn English. I have read that it is the hardest language for an adult to learn in the world. I believe it.

As flawed as our country is, it's heartening to know there are still people coming here for a better chance for themselves or their children.
And that folks like you are there to help them.
