a house husband's work is never done

I picked these chiles out of my garden this morning, roasted them, peeled them then stuffed them with cheese.
Then I dipped them in batter, fried them and served them with spanish rice and frijoles enchiladas. The rice was a mix and the beans came from a can but everything else I made myself. Dorothy loved it.

That sounds yummy. I always say I'm going to make stuffed chiles, but back out of it because of the frying. Do you use an open pan or something like a "frydaddy"?

Lorna: thanks for dropping by.

Dawn: the recipe called for just 1/4" of oil so I just used a skillet.
