found treasure

Dorothy's been doing some housecleaning; going through closets, drawers, etc.. She found this old, crumbling water color painting I did of her cat, Nutmeg, back in 1963. We were just kids at the time; I caught her cat sitting on a pillow and sketched her in pencil, then applied water colors. I was 17 years old. I'm going through all that stuff she unearthed. Maybe I'll find some more things for show and tell.

Don't know if it's any good or not, I'm not an art critic. Looks ok to me, certainly better than I could ever draw. The magical thing about it to me is that you've found it and your mind has been trasported back over over forty years to where I was born. Enjoy your memories and have many more years together.

Dawn: Actualy I've been selling a few things on eBay, just not art. But I'm working on it. I'm working on so many projects, it's hard to get any of them done. Thanks for the encouragement, though.
