winslow, arizona

Well, I'm a standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona and such a fine sight to see

It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford slowin' down to take a look at me

Come on, baby, don't say maybe I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me

We may lose and we may win though we will never be here again so open up, I'm climbin' in, so take it easy

That is a very cool truck. I loved the desert and ruins photos, too.

I love this sequence. Seeing the first one, I thought, "He's standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona." Then came the flatbed. What a hoot! You've made my day!

That is TOO fun! I'd be surprised if my folks even knew that song, unless they just heard Travis Tritt sing it.

One question, though, is that flatbed really a Ford? I can't tell from the photo - very different from the circle Ford emblem they have today.

Yes, that is a Ford emblem. The newer elliptical, blue emblem is really a rebirth of the very old emblems found on Fords pre-1950's
